Entering the automobile world in 1992, the Dodge Viper has had undergone many changes as well as many obstacles. This year, 2006, the Dodge Viper is already on its third generation of vehicles. This time around, the vehicle is introduced as an all-new coupe.

Dan Knott, the director of Street and Racing Technology (SRT) for the Chrysler Group states, “Demand for a Dodge Viper Coupe started the day we introduced the Dodge Viper SRT10 Convertible for 2003. The all-new 2006 Dodge Viper SRT10 coupe is a natural evolution of the heritage of the Dodge Viper, and gives enthusiasts exactly that they’re looking for in the ultimate American sports car.” He also adds, “Dodge Viper SRT10 customers want to go beyond the level of the regular enthusiast, to the level of outrageous performance. Our all-new 2006 Dodge Viper SRT10 coupe gives our customers that performance in a stunning new package.”

The most obvious change for this new vehicle is that it now holds the aerodynamic “double bubble” roof. This roof holds a unique shape that provides a smooth airflow over the vehicle as well as assists in accommodating a large amount of space inside. Other new things for this new 2006 Dodge Viper SRT10 Coupe include the door glass, the rear quarter panels, the integrated rear spoiler, and the wraparound tail lights. It is very much similar to the original Dodge Viper GTS coupe’s look but this new one owns up to a more contemporary flair. Also added in are a set of unique alloy wheels which measures 18 inches for the front end and some 19 inches on the back.

The 2006 Dodge Viper SRT10 coupe holds an 8.3 liter all-aluminum motor that works with ten cylinders. This engine has the power to produce some 500 horsepower and around 525 pound feet of torque. To help it all up is a six speed manual transmission.

Backing up Knott’s statement regarding this new vehicle, Trevor Creed, Chrysler Group’s senior vice president for design exclaims, “It was important for us to sustain the emotion in the design. We wanted the 2006 Dodge Viper SRT10 coupe design to include a nod to the original Viper GTS coupe, but in a contemporary way. The Dodge Viper SRT10 coupe owner is often a racer, and the car has to scream that, even when it’s idling at the stoplight. The bottom line is that the new Dodge Viper SRT10 coupe’s design says a lot about its unique character, and the car’s performance is the payoff.”

To continue Dodge’s tradition of offering unique and excellent in performance vehicles that is outstanding in its value and class, auto parts companies like Car Parts Rush offers top of the line Dodge parts. The customer has a choice from a vast array of auto parts and accessories. It offers new and used Dodge body parts, body kits, performance parts, and Dodge accessories among many others.

Introduced in 1985, Chevy’s Astro is a multi-purpose van that effectively competed with rival Dodge’s Plymouth Voyager and various van models of the Japanese manufacturer Toyata. It is a versatile van and could be used as a standard passenger van or a cargo van. The Astro is also used as the base for ‘converted vans’ designed for a variety of uses. General Motor’s Safari, a truck-based platform, is the sibling of the hardworking Astro.

Astro’s body belongs to the M-Van class and is much like its predecessors, the F-Body and X-Body types manufactured by General Motors.

In its article about Chevy Astro, Wikipedia featured an image of this model of a Coca-Cola delivery van. The impression given is that it is for a targeted group of people. That is why people who drive this van are noticeably hardworking folks or at least that’s what the manufacturers want to convey. And there is way to commend them in a very special way – give them a stylish Chevy Astro Keychains.

Compared to Chrysler minivans, the Astro offers much room. General motors marketed this model using the tagline “life is too big for a minivan.” Astro takes pride in accommodating large numbers of people, more than an ordinary car (up to eight (8) passengers). This makes the model ideal for a mini-school bus, tour van, or a family vacation companion.

The Chevy Astro is undoubtedly a durable model, just what hardworking people are looking for in a multi-purpose van. There is this story about one of the eight Special Edition Astro vans manufactured at the Arlington, Texas plant in 1986. According to Wikipedia, the unit spent 20 years in Belton, Texas and is now an ice cream van in Mexico. Uh! That ice man must be a proud owner of a Chevy Astro! He deserves a fine top grain black leather keychain sporting the Chevy Logo and the model name “Astro”.

And mind you, Astro was also a hit in Japan even if the model is only available in left-hand drive units! Japanese converters must have found its genuine power and durability to be above the class its “own” brands. So our keychain manufacturers must take note. Maybe a keychain featuring the Chevy logo and the name “Astro” in Japanese script could be a hit in Japan.

The last of the Astro and Safari models came out just before May 14, 2005 – the day when its manufacturers decided to take it out of production. Two years had passed since then; and there are still a good number of people still driving this hardy vehicle. There are many loyal fans for the Chevy Astro.

This reliable vehicle deserves an honor badge. So what are you waiting for? Give your hardworking friends a great gift to make them value their fellowship with their own great, reliable vehicle. It is a perfect gift for birthdays or this coming Christmas season.

Then wrap this contemporary body around a 2005-2007 Corvette C6 chassis. This is precisely what was done with a n2a Motors concept car called the 789.

Named for the three years symbolized in the overall design and instantly recognizable by old car buff around the world, the 789 is one cool car.

The nose of the 789 is represented by the familiar hood rockets, chrome hood V, grille bar, parking lights, rubber bumper tips and headlight bezel of a 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air. Just for an added flair, what looks like 1957 Chevy hood bar extensions wrap around the front fenders.

Rear treatment is a very close match to the spread wings and cat eye taillights of the 1959 Chevrolet’s slim line design styling including the placement of the license plate.

All along the side, stainless trim bear a resemblance to a 1958 Chevrolet Impala, right down to the placement of the Corvette crossed flags emblems. The 789 interior is similar to the tri-colored ribbed vinyl’s used in 1958 Chevy Impala luxury lounge interiors almost 50 years ago.

A 789 is well equipped with all of the standard equipment the 2005-2007 Corvette has to offer including 6.0L LS2 400 plus horsepower V8 engine and automatic or 6 speed manual transmission. In addition, each car includes a custom exhaust system and $2,000 custom wheel upgrade.

The challenge of creating a new automobile with 1950s design must have been difficult. However this 789 is beautiful and has just the right mix of styling from a Chevy era when just about everybody had one. Among the millions of cars Chevrolet has manufactured over its almost 100 year history this 789 concept car built by n2a Motors will one day become part of “The Heartbeat of America”.

It was 1969. And what an amazing year it was! The Beatles’ world renowned hit Come Together was at the top of the music charts along with Johnny Cash’s A Boy Named Sue, Neil Armstrong set foot on the moon, and the 1969 Chevy Chevelle SS, now a classic muscle car, was born. The Chevy Chevelle SS met the demands of muscle car enthusiasts for small cars with powerful motors. Its sporty fast-back body style which was first concocted in the redesign of the 1968 models gave it a touch of class as did the new design of the tail lights. Chevelles are mid-sized cars meeting the median between small sports cars and large family cars.

The 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle line was the first to have the SS 396 option available but it wasn’t perfect as it resulted the 396 became known for poor handling as it required stiffer springs and shocks than earlier models. Later in the year, the 396 option was replaced with a 402 cubic engine, supposedly due to emission standards. Even in light of the minor imperfections in its initial release, the Chevy Chevelle SS was an incredibly popular muscle car in its time and became one of the very best sellers of all times.

Limited edition Chevelles were a favorite amongst drag racers due to the powerful engine options, 427s, that could be special ordered. Limited edition Chevelles are few and far between in this day and age, but if you find one, they are worth a pretty penny. Classic car enthusiasts and speed demons alike admire these beauties.

Chevelles were first released in 1963 with a standard 327 cubic-inch V8, 300 horsepower engine. However, at that time the Pontiac GTO has a 389 that was unmatched. Chevrolet responded to the competition over the years by gradually increasing the power of their motors.
Chevy continued to produce Chevelles until 1973.

If you go to car shows where muscle cars are featured, you are sure to see 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle SS models because collectors absolutely love them. They are fast, high-performing cars as well as being practical size-wise which makes them pretty unique. The 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle SS is a car that is appealing to both classic car collectors and racers. Its got style, its got speed and its incredibly durable making it a muscle car classic that just about anyone would be honored to own.
